Chocolate chip cookies are the ultimate favorite snack for kids. These cookies are vastly popular all over the globe because of its unique taste and flavor. The most interesting part is the chucks of choco-chips which make the cookies more delicious. The more chocolate chips you put in the recipe, the richer will be the taste. As I'm a chocoholic and have tremendous sweet tooth, I like to put more and more chocolate chip in the recipe. You can add according to your taste buds or as your kids may prefer. My daughter likes these cookies but in chewy form.

Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Brown sugar 1 cup
- White sugar 1 cup
- Baking powder 3/4 teaspoon
- Butter (softened) 1 stick / half cup
- Eggs 2 large
- Semi-sweet chocolate chip 8-10 ounce (almost a packet)
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Salt a pinch
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C
- Take a large bowl and with an electric blender cream together and butter, brown sugar and white sugar till very smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, add vanilla essence and mix to the batter.
- Now the dry ingredients. Whisk flour, salt and baking powder in another bowl and slowly add to the batter and mix it with the blender in medium high speed. Atlast add the chocolate chips and mix very well.
- Take your cookie pan and grease thoroughly. Take a spoonful of the prepared cookie dough(you can even use an ice cream scoop) and arrange them properly in the cookie pan. Don't forget to keep some space between your cookies, as it will grow bigger in size after baking.
- Now, if you are a fan of soft and chewy cookis, bake them for about 10-12 minutes , till you can see the nicely browned edges. But if you like little more crunchy, bake them for another 10 minutes, that is 20 minutes altogether.
- Transfer the hot cookies carefully to another plate or rack with a spatula and enjoy them with a glass of milk or a cup of tea. You can keep the cookies in an air-tight container and easily use them for a month.
